bumping this question. I attempted (albeit relatively quickly) to perform the install and I wasn't successful in getting any purchase on the ignition to pull it out of the dash. I used various trim removal tools and nothing seemed to be working.

Any tips to get that out of there? A video would be spectacular.

Here is the video that I used to help for F10's. You need to take the dash trim off and then unscrew 3 torx screws to get the ignition off.
