Gas Guzzler Tax

Hey all...on BMW's BYO, they have always been good at listing the GGT on certain models (M3's, M6's and now, the 12 cyl 760Li). However, there is still not GGT listed on the 2013 M5 BYO though the ordering guide does list it well as the BMW Configuration page....is this a simple over-site on the BMW BYO??

Just curious...

My understanding is that BMW is not expecting the car to be liable for GGT.

EPA hasn't completed the testing on MY13 cars, hence nothing official. I've heard $1,300 for the DCT and $1,000 for the MT.

Really? Their estimated fuel efficiency numbers are better than the 550 because of the auto start stop.

It should have a GGT. The 2013 F13 M6 Convertable has already hit U.S. Showrooms with a $1,300 GGT. We can expect that F10 M5 and F12 M6 will have the same.
