Yes! they were both slightly modded.

been thinking about putting turbo jackets on my turbos for months, and now I've seen yours this is a must for me now, to help keep under bonnet temperatures down. We always used turbo jackets on our Supra and they work really well, especially as my down pipes are wrapped will work together well

Obviously Ruben can't use the factory cover anymore and the Supra didn't come with one, so why would you switch to turbo jackets vs the metal plate that came from the factory which does the same thing?

I have no horse in the race, but why do you say that? Are turbo blankets useless?

Do it if you feel like it! Would look sick! Every time my hood comes up people gasp at the turbos and turbo blankets and bust out the iphones. It completes the wrapped pipe look. Not to mention it keeps my under hood temps down and the paint on my hood happy. Pretty much everyone at the track uses titanium header wrap and titanium turbo blankets if they have a turbo

turbo jackets stop the excessive heat from escaping to rest of engine, ill be using the stock cover as well as the jackets, all that heat equals power loss / heat soak. only issue is its real tight in there.

Yup had to take the factory heat shield off of the hood bcs i saw/smelled smoke coming from the slightest touch of the turbos. PTP turbo blankets give me a peace of mind and less heat soak. If you look closely we combined it with a set of aluminum heat shields on the sides as well

There's already a cover from the factory that serves the same purpose. Ruben being custom means he can no longer use the factory cover, but for anyone else running turbos that'll fit under the stock cover, what's the point?

the cover does not serve same purpose, the jacket properly protects the hot side from the cool side, not to mention protection from everything else including the top of engine etc etc.. it also increases power as it helps gets the gasses out quicker, this is not new shit
