I should have clarified the data I posted above was for the 2015 model year. I apologize for any confusion. I edited the post to avoid future confusion.

Below are the July residuals for a 2 year lease on the 2015s. Hope it helps.

750i 63% for 15k
M6 58% for 15k
M5 66% for 15k

Sorry I haven't leased a car ever in my life and starting to look into this. So from the numbers above the higher residual means better lease offer? So the m5 is a better lease option than the m6? Is that correct?

Yup!

Higher residual+ lower money factor = better deal.

M5 will always be a better deal than an m6. Given there is about 20-50 grand difference in price depending on model (in addition to the residuals)

I was thinking about doing a two year lease, but in Texas I would still have to pay the full taxes on the car, so it isn't really worth it. I have done it before when the difference between a 3 year and 2 year was 10%. But that probably won't happen on this car.

Enhanced BT
B&O Sound

$1130 per month for 36/10. only first month's payment and taxes in drive off costs totaling $5800. they don't have the car secured yet but the fact that they have't put hard numbers on deposit paperwork is a bit worrying.
Anyone see any problems with these numbers off the bat? I'm on vacation so I won't get firm numbers till tomorrow

Numbers look really good! Based on that msrp, your cap cost must be around 104k or so.
You may want to consider a 24 month lease though. Monthly payment would be about the same because the residual on 24 month is 69% I believe.
Your drive off should only be about $2500 or so. What's the extra money for?

Just pulled the trigger on a 2015 M5 with CP, Exec, Drivers Assist, B&O. MSRP $117K, selling price $105K. July's lease numbers for 3 years/10K are 63% and 0.0013. Was able to use June rates which had same residual but slightly better MF. With driveoff + MSD's my payments are $1000/month + tax.

thanks for the reply. The taxes are in the drive off since I'm in NJ.

Who did you end up buying from? Was that Greg's car at Pacific?

To be exact 107k
12K off MSRP (10%) is a fair deal

It what can only be described as completely out of character for me, I have ordered a 2016 M5 without knowing what I'm going to be paying for it lol. I even have my preferred first choice of an ED delivery date (Sept. 7 at 3pm). What I don't have are the July residual numbers. And I won't buy my airfare until I know for sure what the lease numbers look like. I'm 60 days out from going to munich and I don't have anything booked or reserved because I want to make sure that the numbers work. Seriously frustrating.

That's my guess too. But I just want some certainty before I pull the trigger on the airfare. What time is your delivery? I may be coming back to the welt that day for the museum.
