That's easy. Just take the real age and divide in half for some folks here

I think the other constraining factor for uk is the cost of insurance. Even if you can afford the car in your early / mid twenties here insurance is either not possible or exorbitant.

Yes this is true, the only time it "pays" to be an old tosser is insuring the M5

If you're in your mid 20's and you are able to afford this car due to your hard work and accomplishments I salute you.
What's more aggressive at that price point?

Well it all depends on the responsibilities of these young owners. If you are living at home all you need is $1200 a month, a down payment and you can lease a M5.

Employed at an investment bank and I concur; this is the situation of 95% of the employees in the mid 20's. Not sure I know anyone here my age, mid 20's, that can afford an M5, NYC Rent ect.. without the help of parents.

I got into real estate development at a young age after earning my first degree. Was able to develop my first project with 100% financing. Anything is possible!

Depending on used or new...This is what I would have considered

E92 M3, and do a lot of mods
GTR
Used 911 Turbo
New 911 Carrera
used 360 Modena
Caymen S
ZR1 ( you mentioned too much for a chevy, but a ZR1 is around a 100, the Z06 is around 70+)
Slightly used Maserati Gran Taurismo

I've looked at most of those at one point or another, but for me personally, the M5 is the better all around vehicle.

Now, the upcoming GT3....

Me too man...I was just listing car that are obtainable in that price realm, but i agree, I love the M5 for it's Jekyll and Hyde personality capabilities.

Again I agree with you about the new GT3...

i suspect there is some selection bias here. meaning, more young people are on this forum and therefore younger stated ages for ownership. i doubt very much the true average age for an m5 owner is in the 20s.

in my mid 20's was lucky to have no student loan because my parents paid for college. Plus the options market is treating me pretty well lately. Had a supercharged M3 e90 before i got my f10 m5 and the M5 is just amazing all around car.
