12v socket

Changing my footwell bulbs tonight and found a 12v socket under the glovebox. Is this standard?

Interesting. On the e9x some cars had that. I haven't looked at my M5 but I'll be thrilled if it's there.

You just tap it, and then radar is all good to go? Easy access?

Random comment but the charger next to the cup holder, and in the rear isn't working. Any ideas?

Fuse in the panel behind the glove box.
