Over heating and drivetrain malfunction
I posted something about this but by mistake i posted it on the 5 series forum. Well here what happened, I occasionally had the drivetrain malfunction error but last week i drove my car and put more than 2,000 miles on it, I have been driving for more than 12 hours and driving a quite hard for 12 hours. 4 hours of driving was in nyc brooklyn-queens-manhattan, eventually headed back to greensboro +8 hours. I went into a hookah bar for a good half hour and once i headed home on my way i had a drivetrain malfunction, once i shut the car off the fans sounded like a jet engine. This was after the already had a 30 minute rest. The fans moving after the car being shut off is normal, but it was never this loud. A day later (today) I arrived at school and got a warning saying my engine is overheating.

I would accept what happened a few days ago after my trip but this morning, the car wasn't driven for too long nor was it driven too hard, it is snowing and really cold.
