New F10 M5 Winter Boots

After a long struggle to find a reasonable Winter Tire Setup, I finally got my new Winter Boots fitted!!

Dunlop Winter Sport 3D P265/35R20 all around
20 x 9.5 OZ Cortina Black

For those who have already done the leg work on finding a proper winter set up for the F10 M5, you already know that the brakes are too big to fit any 19" wheel (except for the OEM BMW Style 408M which will run you close to $4K for the set up). I went with the Tire Rack recommended 20" set up. My wheel guy tried some Enkei wheels with no success, but the Oz's look great especially with my window tint.

I will update everyone how these things handle when we get some real winter weather.

I will take some more pictures over the weekend.

In terms of cost, I got the 3D Wintersports for $309 each.
The OZ Cortina rims were $429 each.
My installer threw in 4 TPMS monitors.
The install was $25.

Again, the BMW OEM 408M 19" runs close to $4K installed.

Hope this helps.

I have these with blizzaks. I find the traction to really low and I've lost confidence in high speeds turns 60mph. Did you find the same thing? They look great. Wondering about purring spacers on to push the corners out? Wondering if it's the rubber. Or the thinner tires.

the dunlop 3d is generally pretty good for the 1st couple of years. There is a 4d out for this winter, slight improvement over 3d
