The greatest thing about this forum are the members posting pics of their cars.

catalogue pics are one thing; the other are the real life pics, when one can admire various personal choices as outside colour, wheels and the interior combinations!

The interior looks really smashing!

Did not realize platinum on M5 is now the full leather not extended. Looks great. Enjoy

Outstanding review, thumbs up.
Trust me, MCB pops and pics don't do it justice.
Now if only the oil pump popped like the color

Thanks. to answer your question - Platinum is still normally extended leather. I special ordered Full Platinum from BMW Individual. This is why I missed the 9/1 ED launch date.

A good look in full sun vs low light.

Nice color selection

Really superb review. Succinct yet informative. Love the interior, I would love to have had the option of some Individual leather on my 1M (yes, I know, it's meant to be pure etc, but why not best of all worlds!

That's the only color for that car! Looks so good.

Great review, congrats on earning the right to buy a new M5.

My only compaint (and this about the 5 in general and not at all novel) I wish the car was like 10% smaller, like some place between the size of the e39 and e60. Doesn't really matter, I won't be owning a 5 anytime soon unless it's a wagon and that's still a bit off

So much for the break-in period. You really shouldn't drive it so gingerly :-)

Haha! Actually I observed the break in properly. We racked up 1950 miles on the European delivery vacation. The 162mph picture was taken on the last day.

Excellent write up , one thing I noticed and experienced is the navigation guidence being off which at some points it showed me going through a field .
This happened when I did my euro delivery also while on was on route from Munich to Zurich.... I wonder if its the same spot .....

It is possible to order any of the BMW Individual interior options in full leather, correct? I always wondered that when fiddling around on the BMW NA's site.

I would like to see the graphite leather option in full over extended, hence my question.

Yes you can. It will be hard to find pics though since few people have done it so far, ad graphite is rare.
