Starting a new thread because someone stole my spoiler - PISSED! - (new spoiler on)

Yep this is my main worry now...I like the idea of a car cover though...I didnt think of that previously

I posted a thread awhile back regarding theft because I thought that too when some guys were scoping my car because they looked around if anyone was watching them when one of the guys decided to looked through the window while lifting the door handle. The thread got really ugly as people accused me of racial and blah blah saying that well maybe they were admiring your car? BS! REALLY? That's how dumb people think nowadays and I know how you feel when you're worried that they may return and do it again. Best bet is get a car cover that you can put a lock on it so it can't be removed.

from watching the Discovery Channel when they had the episode showing how fast it would take for thieves to strip a car down to nothing they basically said they are looking for the easiest car to break into. they did mention things to draw thieves away are car alarms, car covers, ect...

Mate deffinately get the blackvue system. I had it installed in my range and moved it over to the gc when I got rid of that. Excellent piece of kit. Caught my rr dealer taking the car out for a joy ride when it was in for a service and also caught someone on camera after a hit and run.

Mine was installed by sound evo up in Watford. They also did my upgrades subs at the same time.

Car cover is an idea but honestly, they can put a knife into it anywhere they feel and now, there could be more damage to the car as well as the loss to the cover and spoiler. Was most likely some kids who now that they have one, will leave yours alone. Putting a real or dummy camera in the car will probably create more damage - if they notice it, they'll be more inclined to smash the window and remove it.

Sorry to hear, that sucks ass. I'd be pissed too. I think having the spoiler permanently adhered to the trunk and virtually impossible to remove is the best option. A locking car cover would be a great deterrent but what a PITA to have to put on/remove every day.

New spoiler is on (this time with BETAlink) - by the way, really not that difficult to use!

Watching the car like a hawk in case my car is actually being watch by scum - going to be a long few nights until I get my CCTV installed

It stayed like that for nearly 24 hours!...its been some 3 days now since it was installed and the spoiler feels so much more solid with the BETAlink compared to the 3M tape..No way that spoiler can come off without breaking it

Get a deer cam and strap it up somewhere. Make a fake wing. tape it on in the afternoon so everyone can see. If they come around again the camera will snap a pic.
