Nose scratched - any easy way out of this!?

Long story. Momentary lapse of judgement while pulling in to park at my new house, ended up with this. It feels far worse than it looks but it's my first scratch since I got the car and I'd really like to fix it. Ideally without any major repair work like repainting the bumper if it can be helped. Any advice?

Sorry to hear, I would shop around for some quotes..

How are you finding the car so far, and driving it around London?

Best of luck fixing it, hopefully it won't be too costly

Thanks! I'm fairly new to London so absolutely no idea where to start. I'm also new to repairing scratches so I also don't know how bad this is on a scale of 'tis but a scratch to Holy Cow what have you done!?

I wanna ask BMW about it but thought I'd ask you guys first so I know what to say when they start selling me the full repaint.

Totally loving the subtle drive on London roads with sporadic speed runs when and where I can get away with it! It's a real beast when you push for it.

the best bet is to just buy some touch up paint and do that..

otherwise, yes the bumper would have to be sprayed, really nowhere around that..

I've had some good luck with mobile spot repair places for smaller blemishes. They spot repair just the damaged section and blend it with the surrounding.

Thanks guys. I'd really like to avoid full bumper repaint if I can help it. Spot repair sounds more agreeable and I'd start looking for options as soon as I stop kicking myself for letting this happen!

Any recommendations? I'm in West London.

1. sand the grooves (carefully)
2. touch up paint in layers (dab, dry, dab, dry, etc)
3. wet sand down
4. polish

You should be able to get it flush. Color wont match 100%, but will be very close.

Not sure why people dont do this more with scratches. If anybody has a good online tutorial for people to reference, please post!
