Garage List
2024 BMW X7 M60  [10.00]
2014 MCB w/ comp pack lease turn in...

Just wanted to post this here in case anyone is interested...

My 2014 Monte Carlo Blue M5 is getting turned in near the end of the month. The residual is around $65k, but I already know that the dealership can sell it themselves for less (I saw the numbers). MMR has them trading around $58k right now so I am thinking they will sell it for $60k (plus tax, title, etc).

So, if anyone is interested let me know and I can put you in touch.

21,000 miles, excellent condition. Production date of 11-27-2013. Options are:

- Monte Carlo Blue
- Black Extended leather
- Anthracite Wood Trim
- Competition Package
- Lighting Package
- Executive Package
- Driver Assistance Package
- Badge delete
- Black Kidney Grilles
- Carbon Fiber Side Gills

All services have been performed as scheduled. No track time or abuse on this car.

They'll price it 63-65k, depending on how clean it is. Last month, i would have offered 61-62k and they would have declined it. If they CPO it, it'll be 68-69k and they'd reject my 66k offer.

60k would be a good deal if you want MCB.

Looking at the Jeep SRT. I'm looking for an SUV and the X5M is just too expensive this time around.

I see people are having great deals out there... look at this thread:
http://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1281226

However, I test drove the X6M the other day and to be honest with you, didn't impressed me...
Especially (since the MDCT has spoiled us ) that 8 speed ZF is not anywhere close to MDCT and the first gear is ridiculously short...

take one for a serious test drive and i promise you'll be sold...

w that being said the service , warr , dealer's , claims rep's , tech's you name it and they alll absolutely are horrrrendous !!

if bmw in this category is an 8+ which i believe they are , then daimler chrysler is at best a 3. just giving a head's up !

i had an x5m before this srt and it's def a lil slower but evrrywhere else it's very comparable and as stated an excellent daily !

Thanks! I test drive the SRT over the summer, but will take an extended drive this week. I really do like the style of the SRT. Not sure I love the new style of the '17 that just came out, but luckily my local dealership has 11 2016s in stock.

Also, I am kinda interested in the Jeep GC TrackHawk when it comes out.

I don't think they will be able to mark it up too much over $63k mark, these M5s are dropping like a rock at the moment.

Just sold mine, full spec including night vision for $59k plus part out of around $5k. I was initially offered $54k by BMW which irritated the hell out of me.

Welp, the Jeep dealership really shot themselves in the foot on Wednesday. My father and I were both ready to get Jeeps and they started screwing around with money factors without telling me. I kept questioning why the lease payments were so far off from what I had calc'd.

Long story short, we walked out.

This morning we signed paperwork on 2 X5 5.0s with the M Sport Package. They didn't have any X5Ms in stock and the residuals aren't that great so it wasn't worth pushing.

The 5.0 has enough power for me since I barely used all the power in the M5. Plus, it was nice to be in and out of the dealership in under 2 hours with all paperwork done. Picking up the cars on the 30th of this month.

Drive by the Jeep dealership to basically let them know, the X5's could have been Jeeps if they were not being sneaky.

They emailed me and asked me to come back in. I told them it was too late and that we just signed two contracts with BMW.

My dealer has my lease turn in up on their website. Looks like it is now a CPO car.

Just posting in case anyone is looking for a super clean M5. I didn't have a single issue with it.

Hmmm... CPO M5 for $63k isn't bad. I'm waiting to find one fully-loaded at $60k even if it has more miles... Might be worth hitting up your dealer in a month and seeing if they still have it and want to part ways with it at $60k OTD. Thanks for the heads up!

I recently purchased a 2017 SRT. Great car. I was going to pull the trigger on an x5m (which is the better car, and more expensive) but i need a daily driver that wasn't a premium brand that can kinda blend in where i need to go wit it. I tried leasing it and from many different angles and 2 dealers these things lease horribly. They were leasing pretty much around the same monthly payment as a x5m for a car that is about 30k less. I ended up buying it for cash and i think i will keep it going forward for my daily driver/winter car and save the german vehicles for pleasure and fun. Looking fw to the next M5 or E63S. My F10 just went back and it's missed terribly. great cars!!!

Did you consider the Trackhawk at all? I've got my eyes on that as a potential replacement for the ///M later this year.
