HUD focus

Is there anyway to make the HUD image sharper?? Although mine is not out of focus its just soft around the edges. I remember my 2013 M5 being the same.

Maybe just a poor video output to HUD and that's just the best we get. not looking for 4k image but just sharper.

I thought the same and looked in to all the menus but couldn't find anything. If there is an option to do this it is probably through some sort of hidden menu or a hack.

Cant find much about it online. People just seem to live with it.

Since it simply works as a reflection from the projector unit, there's probably not much you can do about it. I don't find mine too bad though, can still make out the navigation directions pretty clearly.

You may want to try cleaning the projector. I’ve had a few instances where it looked fuzzy after a car wash (I think it was wiped with the drying rags) but it improves after wiping with a clean microfiber or paper towel.

yeah tried a quick clean maybe needs more in-depth clean.

my HUD is more than readable just the edges aren't sharp. I guess its proper clean and live with it. Loads online re the same but no fix for sharp focus.
