Clean the steering wheel with wet wipes. Dettol do packs of anti bacterial wipes which are bleach free and not strongly perfumed. I read an article by a detailer who used them. I wipe my steering wheel maybe 3 or 4 times a year with one and dry it off with a cotton cloth. It will restore the Matt grippy finish. I hate how so dealers think the wheel should be more shiny than the tyre walls. Do they not realise they made it so slippery to hold.
