M3 really shined in the MI5 Rogue Nation -:) Any one seen it?!

Was nice finally to see BMW stepping up their game on the big screen! As Audi seems to be so focused on this as a statement and BMW just noticed -

Was very nice Motorbikes vs M3 high speed race -

Whatcha think?!

Yes, was pretty good though the fabulous S1000RR riding really took it to another level. It was BMW all the way except for that one debadged E-class that managed to sneak in towards the end.

MB was nice too
But it was an M3 story hands down -
Somehow I believe an M4 would have fit this more!

It is amazing how they showed that M6 was so tame and made sure the exhaust is not heard at all!! Perceived as a luxury car rather than a hard core sports coupe!!

Was it -
Shame on my used to be sharp observant eyes -
I assumed without focusing that they would focus on ///M
Now that makes sense -
I should have poles at the lack of quad pipes - or how door sills!!
So many cues

Yeah, was a 650 and I think the reason they kept the exhaust note tame was to not draw attention away from the scene. A growl would have been distracting at that moment though I believe they deliberately toned it down. It was an enclosed area where the 650 should have clearly sounded louder than that. I also observed the careful edit

extremely boring storyline, they're running out of ideas. did anyone notice the M3 car chase, beginning and ending 19' rims but middle part going down the stairs 17' rims. How could they overlook this, at least do some CGI or something to make it more believable.

Agree and the suspension travel was not characteristic of an //M car. I wondered if that was just a 335 with M3 bodywork.

I loved how all the 'good guys' were in BMWs and all the 'bad guys' drove Mercedes. Subtle. ;-)

Loved the movie!

They totally destroyed the poor m3. The 911 and Exige in Red 2 got better treatment and that POS Citroen got what it deserved.

Finally saw the movie myself last weekend. Yeah they definitely dubbed the sound of the S65 V8 on the F80. Lol! I noticed the different wheels going down the stairs too. I also heard that Cruise did all of the driving in the movie. Don't know if that is true or not.

I like the 7-Series a lot in the movie and it reminded more of why I love BMW Sedans (the first Transporter movie with Statham), but I liked the BMW Motorcycle chase scene the best. I also think they should have used the 650i coupe instead of the vert in the movie, they didn't even put the top down, which defeats the point. Or better yet, have used an M6 Coupe.

Anyways, I thought it was entertaining as a whole and I really enjoyed watching it even if these franchises seem to be running out of steam. The movie industry really needs some new ideas already. I mean when are we going to have another movie like the Matrix to come out and really break into new ground?
