Sorry for the lack of updates guys. Just like with the ECU tuning on this car we ran into problems on the headlight retrofit. We found a contact overseas that will be flying in to complete the wiring and programming. BMW did not make it easy for us on this one.

Now that was a pain! The retrofit is now complete on the iND M5. The LED headlights are fully functioning and error free. Here is a teaser shot.

Full details coming soon.

ECU Tuning? Nate, I am still looking for the least invasive engine tune to my 13/F10. Anything that would work with just chip/programming?

Thanks for your always speedy replies!

Nate, would the LCI Xenon headlights be plug and play for the pre-LCI cars? Or is it still a different harness?

The new LED headlights require the following-

2x LED headlights (L&R)
All required module for the back of the headlights (LED modules)
FRM3
Gateway module
re-wiring
Custom programming
Total cost around 7k

That was on the high side since the IND M5 was the first US spec M to take on the retrofit. We had to air in some of the parts direct from Germany since US dealers had zero in stock for months. Also we had to fly in the retrofit master from Europe and pay hotel, install etc.... not fun

We will be listing a group buy price soon that includes the parts and labor.
