Important thing you and family / friends are safe..

Obviously insurance wrote it off..so presume it's sitting at a scrap yard somewhere?

"Beware when driving this MONSTER" seems to indicate that the power of the car had something to do with the accident. Some details would be appreciated. Glad you're OK. It's always good to remember how truly dangerous driving can be...in any car. I lecture my kids about it constantly.

Saw this a little while ago. Did you have traction control off, taking that turn (seen in the background of the pic) going just a bit too fast?

And before anyone asks.....how much for the LCI grills?

216 KM/H with a car full of passengers on a public road

Let me applaud your responsibility, intelligence and good judgement in only driving with DSC on.

Wow!! Too bad this thing doesn't have a 'physics' button. Glad all are well. Is this a road you often travel - unforseen curve?? Beware indeed - of what this car is capable of and not exceeding those capabilities.

Glad you are OK. And also glad you didn't kill someone. Jeezuss.

Hate to say it, but your wreck had nothing to do with "too much power".

based on the pics, that road does not seem like it's built for high speeding travelling at all. Do consider the safety of others.

wow I should be a traffic accident investigator. I wrote what I thought happened in the first thread, then the photos disappeared.

defiantly need a physics button.

drive carefully, especially with others in the car.

Ok. Since everyone is being so nice, I will be the first to say it flat out and stop the P.C. crap.

You could have killed your passengers and even more unsuspecting motorists. You post these pictures as if you are proud or something and that I should fear the M5. NO, we should fear people like YOU on the road! You should have hung your head in shame and quietly tried to move on with your life, that might I add, you are lucky to still have. Instead you come onto this forum with confirmation of your recklessness.

It's a beautiful day, clear dry road, and you crashed because of immaturity and stupidity. That's it, nothing else.

Now, we are all capable of making mistakes (lord knows I make enough), but a better start to this thread might have been "Hey, don't be an idiot like me or this could happen to you, in ANY car, not just an M5, regardless of power"

My math says you were going about 135MPH on that road, next time just try to kill yourself, and not everyone around you.
