BMW F10 M5 in Frozen Grey: revs

I recorded the BMW F10 M5 at my dealership's showroom. You can see a start-up, soms revs and some shots of the car. It looks stunning in Frozen Grey! It just needs the Performance package ;-)

That Belgian Frosted Silver M5 looks great. Shame the dealer defaced it with his brand decal - P. Smets, Lier.

Leuk voor jou dat de dealer in Lier je dit liet doen, wel niet zo ok van de dealer;

So english:
I was telling, nice car, nice config but I won't be happy buying this car knowing the dealer himself has revved the car easily towards 6K rpm while engine is cold AND we owners are pointed out to be very careful with cold engines and be thoughtful about running in period of 2000 km .. where there is the limitation not passing 5 -5,5k rpm

Yeah I know... It's easy to remove so it is just marketing

Ik zal dan ook in het Engels antwoorden The engine wasn't that cold and revs weren't higher than 5,7K rpm. Furthermore, the car can handle a lot more than 6K ;-) It won't hurt the car at all.

Sounds very good indeed! And like you said, it's not that bad for the car to rev it like this (not full throttle, and the engine wasn't very cold) in neutral

Haha you said it! It is so addicting, I wouldn't be able to stop revving or flooring it.

When i was 23 I started my 1st company with my savings,
In 2003 I was driving an old PUG205 XRD so almost 10 years later an M5
if you now drive this nice 116i I would expect you to see driving this monstrous M6 active turbine eco hybrid e-gen car with Bowers&Wilkins active 4D sound system by 2023

True, the Akrapovic system is amazing on the M5 (or the 1M/M3 as well!)

I'm starting to warm up to the frozen colors. In this particular color I think the stock 19s look better than the optional 20s. Although the 20s in matt black look sinister with this color. I'm seriously considering getting a set of 19s for winter/drag radials.
