Port Installed Option

Hello - Viewed a youtube video by Scott Smith of Rusnak BMW and he had configured an M5 last year with some high-end performance options using something called Port Installed Options. They were listed on the sticker. They aren't the usually available options so looking to see if anyone had experience with these or knows about the process.

Port installed accessories are items that are sold through the dealership when you order your car. Most PIA's are M Performance parts available through any dealership when you spec your car, such as M Performance Exhaust, carbon fiber parts, etc.
When the vehicle reaches port BMWNA has installers that install these parts before it is transported to the dealership.
