Does anyone here have knowledge of the oem xpipe? Does this truly retain the 3" diameter of the rest of the exhaust system?

I'm reading mixed reviews but it seems there are power gains to be had at the oem xpipe.

On another hand if it isn't truly a 3" dual in/out xpipe I may just put a Magnaflow Resonated 2.5" xpipe in place of the oem resonators and straight pipe the current xpipe.

Trying to combat drone and not kill power with my muffler delete and catless downpipes setup. Suggestions would be appreciated. A true 3" Resonated xpipe would be awesome but I can't find one online.

X Pipe

Have had the same question for quite some time. I am set to replace it if it is not the same size.

With that, I'm not new to searching, doing research or car forums. I have searched, hours, and can not find the answer.

I specifically asked about the diameter of the oem x-pipe and asked for someone that actually has knowledge about it.

On another topic, I have already posted on that thread you linked and asked a different question that remains unanswered, as one of the pics he posted is confusing... as well as messaged him.
