Competition Exhaust Question

Guys,

Selling my M5 to my friend and picking up a M6 GC to try something new and hold me over until the W213 depreciates a bit. My question is I currently have OEM gutted downpipes + Eisenmann race exhaust and it is awesome (but loud). How will a competition exhaust + OEM gutted downpipes compare? I’m considering saving some money and just getting some bigger exhaust tips.

I don’t want the exact same exhaust so will go with catless with CP exhaust or will pick up an Akra.

Tony

I had this setup and it’s quiet cruising around and nasty (raspy, not very deep) when you get on it. Exhaust doesn’t do much on these cars under 800-900hp so save $$’s!

The BMS M5 just ran 169.8 mph in the 1/2 mile with stock turbos, stock downpipes, stock exhaust.... just the JB4, Meth and their intakes.

For the M6 GC I would go with the RPI GTM !!
