New WR: 746whp and 782ft-lb torque
Made some minor changes and dyno'd today at EAS. Car feels strong.
For all the flamers. Running at Bakersfield Fomoso tomorrow so hopefully will have some good traps - don't know about ET as it spins my R888's but let's see. VBOX ranges from 6.5-6.7. Need some work to optimize that and will post the runs that are valid. Interesting kill on the way back from Mexico vs a brand new Hellcat. Took him by 4-5 car lengths - the guy was very surprised! All the modded cars must be out today as I also ran a AMG E55 SC S2 + Headers. That was like a 10 car gap. New turbos coming in a month - can't wait! Dyno (the first pass has the usual dyno error where it doesn't do torque correctly... and the RPM pickup appears to be unstable). Dyno was back-to-back so some timing pulled due to IAT on the 2nd pass: JB4 Log: Last edited by allmotor_2000; 08-21-2015 at 09:12 PM.. |

Great numbers!! Let me know next time you go to famoso, I'd like to see your car run and run mine as well. I'm in Fresno, so not too far away. ?

The reason I ask is because the inter cooler reservoir is rather small, with from what I can see a small capacity. I wonder if a larger reservoir with the capability to add ice would be beneficial?? A larger reservoir would be rather easy to fabricate... ?

Famoso is 7pm onwards - tomorrow!
Haven't really investigated the IC cooling system but it can be improved! Charge air cooling is independent of the engine cooling system. Last edited by allmotor_2000; 08-22-2015 at 12:10 AM.. |

I'm gonna look into fabricating a larger inter cooler reservoir with increased capacity, large opening for ice, and a petcock drain to quickly drain and refill when needed. Something like this:

That would be cool - one option is to run to an ice tank in the trunk but have to refill every run!
It will make a HUGE difference as this car can vary by 50-80whp based on IATs. |

The increased capacity will def help reduce IAT's for daily driving. When on dyno or track one could use ice to optimize conditions. ?

Famoso didn't go very well - lots of traction issues. Best ET was 11.3 and best trap was 132. Was spinning until I hit 3rd.
As the night cooled on the drive home, got some good runs on the VBOX. Very nice 100-200 KMPH (on an uphill): I got a 6.2s 60-130 but it barely edge the 3% slope hence invalid - will post it anyways: |

315/30/20 - prep wasn't that good and I was 2.1 to 2.3 60-foot. IAT's were skyrocketing so after staging forever the temps weren't conducive for lots of power. I don't have the IAT spoof circuits so it retards timing as temps go up.
On the drive home after cooling the IC and colder temps, got a very good 100-200 KMPH stat |

Get a set of Mickey Thompsons and buy, beg or borrow a set of 19" stock rims.

Wow thats insane! Why can't I ever run into anyone that wants to run!! Not that it I would have any chance against you BUT I would enjoy nonetheless! You would be deep into 10s with better 60', some slicks are in order! Great Job.
