M5 Hold Time

Is anyone planning on keeping their M5 off warranty and, in a related question, does anyone expect to exceed the warranty mileage limit before the time limit?

Maybe and nope. Will need to decide whether to roll into the latest M3 in a few years (just for a change) while I wait for the next M5

I was actually thinking about this last night on the way home haha. Never thought that I would keep a car for more than 3 yrs, but this one might just make it through.

I will probably get an extended warranty. Haven't decided if I want the M3 yet. It all depends if I want to track more. I only have 14,000 miles left before I hit 50k though. If I want/need a car I will track more, then I'll probably not keep the M5, but if not I see no reason to get another car until the next M5 is out. The weight of the F10 doesn't bother me on the street, only on the racetrack. But I'd rather have an exotic car like a Lambo if the next M5 gets any bigger in size.

My plan is to get a Superleggera and straightpipe it. It's the only car I've ever heard that is louder than my F10 currently is. . Plus I miss that true F1 sound.

if you do keep it past the warranty
make sure you get the extended
on my last m5 despite being way under mile wise
it cost me a bunch of cash to fix the car

Good choice. I saw deals on those with a 30k discount.

Not sure if any of you guys have geico, but they have mechanical breakdown, which is an extended warranty as long as you have it in year 1. They told me you can go to your shop of choice for work. I doubt I keep the f10 past four years, but good to have in case I do at a much lesser cost.
