I have a sneaking suspicion that this isnt a powerdome for styling but rather engine monitoring equiment thats under there like they had for the hybrid X6 when they were testing the car

They are using the cover from the E60 M5s. No worries. |

HAS ANYONE SEEN THE INTERIOR. the hump from the navigation just like in the e90 the interior doesnt match at all with the new 5 series gt but however i have a feeling it will have some similar things as the 7 series but totally different things from the 5gt

The front bumper looks exactly like the m3. Powerdome?? If it's the V8 TT it should fit without it. I don't like powerdomes that don't have the excuse "the engine won't fit without it."

F10 M5?
The double hump on the dash is fake.
You can see in the first pic below, its a felt covering to fool us. The second pic shows the true dash with one hump.

Actually it doesn't look "exactly like the m3." The bottom is rounded/curved, actually looks much better than the m3 front IMO.

lol, did anyone expect the front bumper to look any different?
The front bumper is always going to look similar, same with M3's. And I agree with the post above that it looks almost identical to the current M3's...

The powerdome on the M3 is definately NOT cosmetic or "just to allow more air". Trust me. I have an M3. The engine sticks up significantly and without the power dome, you would not be able to close the hood.
If you look at a profile of the car with the hood up, the engine actually looks like it tilts up a bit from the windshield to the front of the car (same shape as the powerdome)..and it fits in snugly with the powerdome. |
