2015 M5

So I was at a BMW dealership today. They had a 2015 m5 looks like they finally enabled the sport gauges. I wonder if we can code this with the latest update? Does any one have a 2015? I know the waste gates now are electronic on the m5 from 2015 and on does this affect this feature ?

I check the the whole car out and thats about the only thing that I notice different from the 2014. Well if you push the heated steering button you do get a warning in the dash too. Nothing else changed NBT Head unit wise.

1. Memory button says Set for Seats
2. Heated steering button when pushed pops a warning telling you its on in the dash.
3. Sport Gauges active. (would like to have this) Coding ?

Gas Guzzler tax is $1000.00 instead of $1300.00

Thats about it.

I have a 2015 and it's great. LED is included in the pricing if you get the executive package. No gas guzzler tax for a European Delivery.

Anyone have a picture of what the sport gauges look like? This is the first time I'm hearing of them.

I have a 15, (10 days) and can post a pic, but I don't know what sport gauges are. Are they just the regular gauges.

They are located under Vehicle Settings last option on the bottom. They show the cars HP and Torque as you drive.

Do you guys mind sharing the caf Files on your car? you need need Bmw Esys to read them. Did any of you code your cars ?

Strange. My '14 550 has those gauges and it's certainly not the performance leader for the BMW 5 series range. Why wouldn't the M5 have had them from the start?

Because in EU we use kW, not HP, also torque is measured by Nm, instead of lb-ft.

'14 M5 here. I don't have that display.

I did rent with Avis back in May when they upgraded me to an X5. It had the display. Sad that we don't.

Sport displays can be enabled on any F10... I believe this option (coding) is around from quite some time... I don't think it is functional / use full why would one stare at the navigation when they are accelerating.

We have this from 2012

Check this thread we have video on it...

Mods you can delete the link if it is a violation
