Probably dumb question,but where's location of the sticker with paint name/code in M5s? On other BMW models used to be under the hood, on one of the Front suspension columns

In the drivers door jamb, black oblong sticker. Is in the UK.

I know color code of my M5 is 300 - Alpine White. But there are alpine white I, ii, III. How do I know which one is right for my car?

Color code 300 is Alpine White III. The previous Alpine White paints would have had a different numerical number.
