BMW CCA Reward Program

So I didn't submit my application in time and missed out on a $1000 incentive. A little peeved. I feel cheated. Not sure why a cutoff but I guess rules are rules.

Just a reminder to get your application in on time.

Still love my M5.

BMW CCA - it's like an enthusiast group.

If you are a member for atleast one year, you receive a 1k incentive on a new BMW lease - and maybe a new purchase too, but I don't like to purchase BMW's.

BMW Car Club of America. What they are refering to is a rebate program that has been in place for many years. You have to be a member for at least one year to participate and can recieve a $500 - $1,500 rebate depending on the model car you purchase. For the 5 series, including the M5, it is $1,000.

I've done this for my last three purchases; it's a fantastic program. Well worth the price of membership. If you don't belong already, join - it costs around $50.00/yr. Paid for itself many times over at this point.

^ ditto. The local clubs also put on driving schools, programs, etc. worth the $50, and the $1000 is nice. There was actually a guy who wrote in to Roundel (their mag) furious that they declined his rebate because it had expired... There was a funny back and forth with the editor and other people chiming in... Like on here when someone gets flamed!

Posted as an FYI.

I missed that very important detail and despite being a long term member and BMW enthusiast, I missed out on an eeeeaaasssyyy $1k.

Learn from my mistake.

Cheers.

I made that mistake on my 2013 M5. I waited till redelivery which took too long and then missed the deadline.

With my 2014 M5 I submitted the app online using my ED delivery receipt. Got paid within a couple of weeks.

BMW CCA took care of me too. Well worth the price of membership and the publications are pretty good too.

No thats from BMWUSA - this is from the BMW Car Club of America, after you have been a member in good standing for one year. Im guessing with holiday cash, loyalty, and cca rebate, you start off with a $6500 haircut w/o even negotiating. Got me thinking, but my F10 is special to me since it was my first ED.

oh Nice, is there anyway a dealer couple give you this discount without being a member? I bet you could negotiate it

The beautiful thing about this is that it is on top of what you negotiate with the dealer - the dealer will always try and find a way to recoup whatever discount they've given you - and rightfully so, it is a business after all.

No need to even let them know you're planning on doing this.

The way I see it, it's better than free money because you receive a membership in a great club with other great benefits.

The BMW CCA rebate is 100% separate from anything negotiated with the dealership. You could always try and get them to negotiate further, but if they give it to you then it is just something that you could have negotiated on your own.

The CCA rebate comes directly from the BMW CCA and has to be applied for after purchase.

The biggest downside... Cars that are leased to a company, rather than an individual, are not eligible even if the personal guarantor is a CCA member.

Membership is cheap and, the Roundel (their magazine) is one of the best car club mags out there. I usually read it cover to cover when it comes in.

Depends on how active your local chapter is. Here in Phoenix they do a couple of drives a year along with participating in HPDE programs out at the track. Other locations do more, so do less.

BMW Discounts

Be careful what discounts you think you can get. I got $2000 USAA Military discount, $1000 test drive discount, and the BMW CCA $1000 discount. I was assured by the dealer these could stack with each other. In fact BMW denied the test drive discount, and CCA denied their discount because it seems NO discounts can be stacked. This makes the $2000 USAA Military the most valuable, there are many ways to get a $1000 discount but the CCA will not be in addition to it.
