ED M5 ordered

So I finally decided to replace my 13 M5. I looked at everything from the new S class to E63, Panamera GTS, Audi RS7, Audi S8. Couldn't imagine getting rid of my M5 so I ordered a new one. Why not keep my existing M5? Just wanted something newer. Also, I was jonesing for some of the options my car doesn't have.

My Current M5

Black Sapphire
Black Extended Leather
Dark Wood trim
Executive Package
Driver Assistance
20'' Wheels

New M5

Sakhir Orange
Black full leather
Aluminum trim
Comp Package
Executive Package
Drive assistance plus
B&O Audio
Enhanced USB
Black full leather

This will be my first Euro delivery and I am very excited!! ED pickup is probably going to be mid to late may.

Lol yes. The only reason I didn't get B&O and full leather last go around was because I didn't want to wait and order a car. Found one locally a couldn't resist instant gratification.

Dude that is awesome.

It'll feel like a very different car for you. I can't imagine living without a B&O in my car. Guess that's why I have trouble deciding on other choices, unless it's got a V10 engine.

Thanks Dave. I agree regarding B&O. I was slumming it for the past 2 years.

V10 is cool. You have no Idea how bad I wanted an E60 M5 back in the days.

The best option you added was European Delivery....

Really like your build; I think you are going to see it as a significant step up with a bespoke color, comp package, and B&O.

I agree and believe me I looked at plenty of different cars. If the new E63 was out already then I would've gone that route. I am really liking new interiors in MB. Technically, this will be my 3rd F10.

I think you will be happy with it, but I really think you should consider going Individual. Individual is the best way to order an M5 in my opinion.

Given your tastes, I would go for something like Frozen Dark Silver with Graphite Individual Merino. Or if you like Sakhir, then consider Full Sakhir Interior - I think it will look much sharper than Sakhir over black.

I agree with Stealthy, but the only downside is a long wait time for production due to Individual. If I was to reorder one I might go for Individual PTS, Frozen Bronze over Nutmeg, or maybe like Frozen Yas Marina Blue over Champagne. Just some ideas, feel free to steal some.

Stealth, I have seen SO/SO in person. Actually the day I got my car, dealer had 2 SO M6. One SO/Blk (that I picked) and the other one SO/SO. When I sat inside that car I felt it's too much and that's why I picked mine, but maybe it's just me felt like that or maybe on M5 it's different. I will pick Blk/SO or SO/Blk over SO/SO

I considered going frozen route but decided against it for now. Maybe next car.

Sakhir/Sakhir would be a bit too much orange for me.

I hear you. The color I really like is san merino blue from M6.

The long wait time primarily impacts leather. For paint it may only add a week. And if you are planning ahead for the summer that week won't make any difference. I ordered my just Individual 6 weeks before actual ED date.
