on the ATHENS TRADER!
Boy oh boy!! I was pleasantly surprised to find out not only tha tmy car left the port but it left on 9/12 which was last wednesday. I was searching the WW site for my VIN and it never showed up! No one one the board said that any other ships were leaving last week but there was one called : Athens Highway . Should have a 14 day travel to Brunswick, GA to arrive on 9/26!!
This is better than i thought, I havent checked the tracking guide again to see if K-Line site is on there for reference but i just see everyone (including myself) looking on the WW site for VIN tracking but anyone who isnt showing up may wan to check with their salesman and ask them the vessel name... you may end up nicely surprised like I was! Last edited by bradone1; 09-17-2012 at 09:26 PM.. Reason: boat name was wrong called ATHENS HIGHWAY |

Not for BMW, but if you look at the WW ship schedule on their web page many of their boats stop in Charleston.

There is no VDC in Charleston, but all of the X models made in Spartanburg leave from this port. Maybe they are picking up?

I did read that about the X models coming out of there. I read a lot about a VDC/VPC that was there before Baltimore opened up (old articles). It just doesn't make sense why a ship would turn around. It was supposed to hit Charleston after Brunswick.. Seems like a waste to turn a boat around and go back the other way.
Yes SC not NC, sorry about that Thanks for the help guys |

Curious why it would turn around like that, but most of my tracking sites show the boats stopping in Charleston on the way to Brunswick. btw, this is the Athens Highway not the Athens Trader, correct?

Yes sir, Athens Highway 100% I made a mistake when I originally found out. Dealer confirmed its the Athens highway
I'm guess it had a deadline to be at Charleston today due to its schedule that's listed and then like you said, Brunswick after I'm stuck like chuck anyways due to the bad pumparoo.. |

It shows on bmw site as finishing touches and that boat is now sailing back to Germany Very odd but I don't care, it's here!!! Now where is my silly new pump!!? |
