Ticking noise after motor shut down
I just noticed the weird sound coming from the engine right after shut down.
It's noticeable only when the hoods open Long time ago, I did find a code "no movement deteced on valvetronic motor" but it disappeared by itself later then. I'm not sure if they're related or not Here is the sound clip |

Definitely not normal. Does it stop just as the turbo coolant pump stops? I wonder if your pump is going bad, you should be able to hold your hand on the pump to feel it vibrating maybe it's coming from that.

Have you checked the fill level of the turbo coolant circuit? Maybe it's very low and not able to pump without cavitating air as well.

Update:
Been told by the dealer, it’s all fine. Pumps ok, fluid fill level ok. The sound is due to the thermal expansion inside the engine. Tho the noise to me still sounds weird |

Find the pump, then find the electrical connector or fuse. Get the car hot, pull back in the garage and unplug the pump or pull the fuse, then see if the noise stops.
