F10 M5 inlets ( another option )

Just ordered these waiting for shipment and would like to throw it out there for others if interested in getting these I know Infinity had came out with them in a beautiful carbon design but wanted to try these out since it’s a bit cheaper and I don’t have carbon under my hood . Link below !

These look like a great alternative and like that they will custom size the inlet diameter.

That said; I just got my Infinity Design shipping notification. I sure hope they get across the pond quickly I am getting close to rotating out for work soon.

TPE inlets

These look like a decent (and less expensive) alternative to the Infinity inlets. A dyno sheet showing comparative before and after fitment runs on a tuned M5 was published on FB. Showed about 32 whp and 60 ft pound gains somewhere between 3,000 and 4,000 rpm if I recall correctly. Unfortunately, negligible gains above 5,000 rpm - which is where I'd want to see the extra power. Our cars don't need low-down gains unless it's on a built motor with upgraded clutches. There was some indication of sound enhancement - which may be enough for some to justify the purchase.

Update : Recieved and installed .

Overall fitment was spot on and perfect , induction noise has changed a bit not crazy different as I have front mounts but I can hear a difference under load . The increase in power would be hard to explain but the direct power is more pronounced and pulls harder in the mid range . For the price it’s being sold at I’m not complaining as the factory ones would definitely rob us from some horses . Great customer service and also has a warranty for 2 years on the product .
