for those who have installed KW V3 w/o EDC delete

Hi I'm new to forum and BMW's.

For those who have installed kw v3 w/o the EDC delete, have any of you successfully had the EDC coded off?

I'm talking to a guy who does coding and he has a great rep and I'm sure he knows his stuff and he's telling me it can't be done on an F10 M5.

If you did not get it coded off, what message/warning lights do you get? I want to see if I can live with it or if I have to buy the EDC modules if I cant get it coded off.

I have the KW V3 with the EDC modules. With all the electronic communication on the F10 I was worried that the car might think there is a problem with the suspension and reduce power in some way without the module installed. I don't know if the car does that, but for peace of mind I bought the modules.

I don't have the answer as I have tried coding it with an Autologic but since it was not successful I installed the modules for the vehicles that needed the delete.
For the price you are paying for the KW's...try looking for used modules

Thanks...yah I ended up getting the modules. Its all getting installed tomorrow. I saw a lot of posts saying to just code it out but it looks like people who have coded it off mostly had the E60 and not the F10.

Yes the E platform is easy
The F chassis is another story.
I just spoke with my friends shop in CA who installs Accuair
They just completed another F10 on air bags and they could not code the module out either.

F10M chassis' don't have a passive suspension option so satellite EDC modules were removed which eliminates an isolation point to code them off. The input sensors are hardwired to ICM and transmitted to VDM Master.
