BMW Canada - 30th Anniversary Edition M5
Hey Folks,
Was able to get some juicy info again. BMW is launching a 30th Anniversary M5 dubbed the "30 Jahre M5". They are including a bunch of updates (including a bump to 600hp!), options, as well as an M5 track experience. Apparently there is only 20 allotted for Canada (300 worldwide). Man I wish I could afford this See attached PDF for all the details. |

I hear you and agree, but its better value than we get in the UK. CDN $145K is only GBP£79k. the equivalent spec over here would cost in the region of £ 115k - so approx $211k..!

Seems each market is forcing different stuff for this edition, EU/UK orders are not obliged to take CCB/B&O, making the base -relatively- cheaper. |

If you configure an M5 right now with all those features (added individual whatever I could) comes to $142k - at $145 sounds like a steal to me. I have a feeling someone messed up the documentation here (either in the US or CA) because it make no sense to me that its so closely priced to the US at $138k and has both B&O & CCB. I spoke to the dealer about this car and Canada is getting 20 and he wants a guarantee your taking it (i.e. big deposit

I would be kicking myself right now if I waited and bought a GT3 instead of picking up the GT last year - my buddy has had his at the dealership for weeks now! Yes it is super cool.. and I doubt they will lose much value when people do finally get to drive them etc. I am going to pickup a use 2014 one day.

I'd allow $3K for paint and $10-15K for interior with the full leather and contrast stitching.

Cool, but I would need to really like the colours for that $$ amount and I just don't (personal preference obviously). Hats off to those who hit the ask though.
