Anyone try the Carbotech Street Pads for less dust?

Anyone here try the Carbotech street pads 1521 Compound for less dust.

http://www.ctbrakes.com/pads.asp?Make=BMW&Model=M5

IF these perform as well or better then the OE pads with less dust ... this might be the way to go.

Are you talking about the 1521's? It says can't use them on the track though.

I have these on my E60 M5 and they are absolutely terrific! Much less dust than factory pads and the dust isn't as corrosive like the dust from the factory pads and they have great bite!

Much better! I replaced my rotors at the same time that way the new material wouldn't be affected by the deposits left from the stock pads and my rotors were due for replacement anyways.

That sounds AWESOME!!
Thank You for the feedback.
Now if only someone with these on the F10M5 can chime in... it should be the same result, but it would be nice to get real world feedback before pulling the trigger.

I've had the 1521 on my F10 M5 for a few months now. As far as breaking performance, can't really tell a difference from OEM. I'm not to aggressive with braking with daily driving to notice any difference.

However, the reduced dust is awesome. There is still some dust but not nearly as much and seems to be lighter in color. Overall, no regrets and would have done it sooner.

FYI, the backing plate is red which shows more on the rears.

Best of luck. It's an easy DIY.

Oh that's great !!
Thank You for the feedback.
This sounds like the go to pad then.
I can't believe how long I've been putting up with OE pad dust on this car.
