Why no R while backing up on the HUD?

plus dont' you have to shift to R? it should be in right?

It shows R on the dash anyway. No need to look at the gearshift. Anyway, in the DCT you have to push it across and left to get into R, so if you have done that you should know that you are in R without having to look at anything. Unless of course you don't have control of your arm, or really bad short term memory loss.

Perhaps the solution would also to have a HUD on the rear window specifically to display the R.

Agreed. For now, I've just painted an R on my back window.

For me it all went down the pan when I discovered some criminal had cut a whole in the roof and replaced it with glass!

I wish there was a way to switch from manual back to auto using the paddles (e.g. by pulling left and right paddles at once). Also wish there was a way to put the car in neutral with paddles.
