Cool how it works but not something I'd ever do. It just means now we'll see a lot more cars around with funny coloured wheels.

This is some mad stuff! Apparently people do their whole car. This is like something I would do just to try out and then peel it all off after a day or two lol.

250 bucks doesnt seem like a bad deal for paint and sprayer for the entire car!

Would this be able to go over carbon fiber? Like a cf hood and trunk without damage?

it seems to be just vinyl, and to my knowledge that's a pretty in-active product.

The matte-white they offer looks really good when applied on. However, that matte-black looks really bad imho...

My question would be how do you wash the car... If you can easily take it off just by rubbing on an edge for a few seconds it seems like an extremely careful hand wash would be the only way to wash it to make sure the whole car doesn't start peeling.

Plasti-dip is a rubber coating. It sprays on like spray paint, and needs a few coats to be effective, again, just like regular spray paint. When you want to remove it, you can rub it or pressure wash it and just peel it off as a film.

People spray paint OVER plasti-dip w/ some desired color to make it a temporary thing.

From personal experience, the temporary spray paint thing DOES work. However, instead of peeling off as a huge piece of film, it comes off in small little chunks. But it is worth it, if you don't want to shell out the money for a powdercoat or don't want to commit to a powdercoat.

You can spray it w/o high pressure to just wash off the dirt that's on the top layer.

I'm more curious on how you would clean it if you get bird droppings or something on it? I guess just respreay?

I am tempted to go with a crazy color as a summer project, but don't really have 250 dollars to waste right now xD

I did my winter wheels on my 135 in Plastidip. I liked it.
You can get it here.

lol plasti dip is awesome, but i don't know if I would do my entire car.

The trick is liiiiiiiiiiight first coat and then make sure to put 3+ layers on after the first coat, the thicker the better because when you peel it off, if its too thin, its a real bitch.
