Gas Guzzler Tax

I'm in the process with a few our of state dealers. They've sent me their sheets which have the builds, i.e., base price plus add ins, etc but I don't see the gas guzzler tax.

How and who collects the GGT? Am I going to be in for a surprise when I register the car in my state? Can I have the out of state dealer deal with the dmv on all the state taxes, registration etc so there are no surprises on my end on the contract?

Gas guzzler gets paid to dealer you buy from included in the sale price or cap cost. Some but not all dealers will do all the registration paperwork.
Some will do but others don't want the headache. Just ask and they will disclose.
