Parking Skills ! Now bumper has a chip

So pops trying to park his car too close to my M5.. bumped his car into mine. Now there is a license plate screw chip on rear bumper.

Worth taking it to body shop or let it be

Nobody but you will notice it -. I got rear ended at 5mph and had super minimal damage. Ended up just pocketing the check and not worrying about it. The body shop is going to talk about bends, creases etc. and want to fuck with the bumper. The bumper has parking sensors on it which make it even more costly to repair. I say let it be.

I would dab a drop of touch up paint in the chip and roll. However we have places where i live that refinish bumpers for about 200$ and match to where you cant tell the difference. Its basically who all the dealers use to recondition cars prior to sales. But if you go to a shop expect to pay about 500-700 to fix that.

Easy repair, after very fine paper rub a quick jab on button of matching paint spray followed quickly by hot lamp on patch to 'still' it then same again until blending in then after a week some rubbing paste sparingly to smooth it out then if you wish a dab of clear lacquer.Try out on separate piece of plastic or whatever to build up your skill.

Exactly what I was going to recommend!
