Question Stage 1 tune

I ran 11.95 1/4 mile stock.could not get better than that stock.
Bms stage 1 tune gave me 11.7 in the 1/4 mile using launch control with low rpm setting very little wheel spin.

I was wondering if I get ESS stage 1 tune, is my car gonna be faster than bms stage 1?
I don't have any plans of further modifications.

ESS stage 1 will cost about 1500 bucks vs bms was 449. Is the price diff worth the diff in performance?

If I get sticky rear tires what should I expect the 1/4 mile time to be with bms stage 1 vs ESS stage 1 flash tune?

The Stage1 is a simple install and enjoy tune that you can quickly remove when you go to sell or trade the car in. gains are modest but noticeable. There are plenty of more powerful tunes out there though like the JB4, various flash tunes, and even combinations of both. But it all depends on your needs and risk tolerances. The dealership can easily tell if the DMEs have been jailbroken via a new OBDII scan they have so if the car is leased or you may want to use the warranty for something major, tread carefully.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I still want to know what would be the quarter mile time for stage 1 flash tune with a very good launch.

I'd guess 11.3-11.4 is doable with stage 1 and ~600whp.

I had the ESS 93 octane tune.

With the mods in my sig:

BMS stage 1 set to 3, I ran a 11.4 ( I think the MPH was like 123-ish)
11.15 @ 126 with the ESS tune.
BPM tune I picked up a little over 2.5 MPH. 11.15 @ 128.8MPH

BPM tune pulls WAY harder on on the street. But it has intoduced a slight hesitation in the launch at the track that is hurting the 60 foot. The ESS tune had a low 1.7 60 foot vs 1.84 BPM. Once I have time, Mike and I will work out the issue with the hesiation.

Car is deffinatley a 10 second contender as it sits, and rolls a lot harder than my 1/4 time would have you think.
