M5 vs M6 - OEM Exhaust
Does anyone know what the biggest difference is between the M5 & M6 OEM Competition exhaust? Are they interchangeable? Looking at pictures of both systems they look exactly alike.
I have the opportunity to pick up a comp system with few hundred miles for $400. Hoping the system fits the M5. If not I can still flip it easily and make some $$$

I think the cans are the same but the pipe length is not... they are not interchangeable or aftermarket companies would sell them in blended advertisements and same part numbers.

Yeah I was afraid of that and assumed the same. I am sure I can have a fab shop extend it if needed but for now I am just happy to have OEM exhaust in case I sell the car.
