DINAN Springs / Swaybars

Just got the springs and sway bar installed. The ride is much bumpier, lmost like I'm always in sport plus and dips in the road hurt.... Feels like no dampening.

Is this expected or did the Installer f*ck up.

Thanks

I think the first question that you will get ask is what setting do you have the sway bars on? which holes?

No, this is not normal. Did you get the Dinan bump stops too ?

If the ride hight is too high springs are maxed out the you will get the bumpy ride.

I did get the bump stops and they are installed. Possible the installed dropped it too low. It's about a finger wide gap on all 4

Agree your drop may be too low. I also installed Dinan sways and KW HAS springs lowered to Dinan recommended 3/4 inch height and felt the ride was too rough and bumpy (but great while cornering). The ride improved a lot when I just raised to CP ride height. Handling is still pretty good.

Maybe I've adjusted but doesn't feel as bouncy. Just stiff. I believe I just need to adjust it. Haven't had time to

When I take a hard left turn I hear this pop sound, I can duplicate if I do hard turns in a parking lot. Need to get that checked out.

The pop may be due to the sways installed without preloading the suspension.

You may be right. So what's the fix? Sorry I understood what your saying but not familiar with the mechanics

Basically put the car on an alignment rack or on a ramp with a pit so the car is sitting on the tires, then loosen the bolts attached to the sway bar, then make sure it's positioned properly (i.e. parallel with floor), then torque them up again.
