So far I'd say no to very limited institutional trading on the futures products. The volume in there is pathetic at present.

What you want to hear is firms accepting Bitcoin, or any other cryptocurrency, for transactions. And then if you do get wind Goldman, Chase, Citi, etc.. are beginning to hold these as a store of value. The Blockchain technology has some great promise.

Forget Bitcoin for now. Tons of money being made in the 'alt' coins... TRX (up almost 20x since 12/6), XRP, the list goes on. Do some research and don't knock it until you truly understand what is going on right now. www.coinmarketcap.com

Since the CME Futures launch BRR is DOWN 40% and the pink sheet investment trust, GBTC, knocking on 50% DOWN. All in just 5 short days.

Where are those BitCoin Bulls.

Wait for the washout if your needing to own.

Love your spirit.

When the Euro first launched it took a dive much like what we are seeing now. Clearly not a great comparison given the Euro is central bank backed, whereas BitCoin is spec, hope, and "store of value" (lol).

Ah yes, nothing like the freedoms of honest price discovery.

Cheers.

altcoins are where it's at right now. Siacoin, Stellar and Litecoin are good bets mid-terms in my opinion
