How much should I pay for a 2014 M5?
In the market for a 2014, and every now and then I see a post on here with people saying $60k is the max anyone should pay for a 2014. That being said, I'm wondering what others are paying, and what I should pay for the options I want.
The following are must haves: 2014 LED headlights Lane Change Warning Surround View Driver assist HUD Heated Steering Wheel I would really prefer B&O and competition package, but I don't think those are deal breakers for me. With these options and relatively low miles (20-40k) I see a lot of cars above $60k. My other question is, should I wait a few more months to purchase? Does anyone predict that prices will drop significantly in the next few months? I'm a believer in buying what I want, when I want it because life is short, but if everyone thinks prices will drop $5k-$10k in the next 3 or 4 months then I can wait. Thanks! |

And that said 55-60K your good 65k for a low mileage example tops.

I just pulled the trigger on a 14 mt as well. Mine had exec package only, but it had individual paint and leather. 43k on the clock, but I paid $50k.

Check for M5 with VIN WBSFV9C51ED593528 , I do not think it is sold yet. Any BMW dealer can locate the car for you.
It used to be my car, I returned it off lease in December, had around 40k miles, every option possible, except Ceramic brakes. I babied the car, washed myself, took care of leather. Mostly highway miles too. I took over the lease 1 year before it expired. Alpine white on Sakhir Full. Pic below |

Here is my listing http://f10.m5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1373220
Still under warranty for another 4.5 months based on # of years. Currently 23,200 miles. I looked at local dealerships on cpo cars and like you say $63-65k is the norm. I think my car is a bargain as you can buy your own extended warranty and don't have to pay sales tax in a private sale. I'm entertaining offers and $60k has been offered 3 times.
