Description says it's the last unsold in the US. I'd be surprised if this one wasn't kept for this purpose, but regardless, it's a gorgeous car and I'm very curious as to how much it'll go for!

This thread is lying. Or at least is not valid.

You are welcome to Finland and pay 240k€ for this:

Although this is (IMO) the most beautiful production BMW ever made, the price on these things is absurd. BTW, 180,000 Euro is equal to $213,000 USD. R8, 911 Turbo, Lambo Huracan, etc. BMW simply cannot compete in that price bracket. Not even close.

Yes, it's not the last to be sold. Below is a link to Vista Motors in FL., which still has an unsold 30th Anniversary M5.

Technically this car was "sold" or at least reserved for someone as dealers never ordered these cars.
I have evidence that I actually bought the last 30jahre from (BMWNA). 29/30 were "sold" or allocated within minutes of the slots opening up. The last "unsold" 30jahre belonged to BMWNA who showed it off at legends of the autobahn, then Monterey Motorsport reunion at Laguna Seca then Pebble.
I know of at least one person who got 2 and 2 others who left theirs at the dealer as they never expected to actually get one and a "now what" situation. I bet one or more of these are what is in the showroom in fl and at auction. So it is DEFINITLEY marketing. What things are worth is very individual. To me the car is special, didn't pay a penny over and is avail in a fraction of numbers compared to the other cars ref'd above for the same money ( over msrp). Ie more La feraris built than 30 Jahre. If someone cared about that. That adds value to some. For me it is a very nice DD and worth every penny I paid compared to my '13

I would if I expected no reflectors for example and, there are visual option differences in Europe.
No biggie but like guys showing pics of someone else's wheels while trying to sell theirs on the Board. A matter of principle mostly...

Stunning car. Hope it gets bid high at auction. Usually someone bids these cars way high and then bidder writes off the amount over sticker as a donation.
