Nothing other than the liklihood of short-stroking it under pressure unless you put in enough range time to be completely comfortable with this shotgun.

Great shotty though!

Personally, I've been happy with an FNH SLP for that duty. Very tasty!

YOu should see if you can shoot both. My first pistol was a SA 1911 target in .45acp lol I just jumped the gun and seriously I was more precise and accurate with it than with my xdm in 9mm. I guess is because I'm still not getting comfortable with the 9mm snappy recoil compared to the .45...which I dearly miss since I sold it

IMO ca. firearm restriction is somewhat a PITA (I bought my 1911 when I lived there)

Here is the roster of approved firearms: http://certguns.doj.ca.gov/safeguns_resp.asp

Sadly the xdm is not on the list since it comes straight from the factory w/ more than 10rd mags . Lol on the side of my case it says "NOT FOR SALE IN CALIFORINA" ...yep....the libs think that more than 10rds is horriable for the law-abiding citizen, and that the BG will NEVER think of buying a hi-cap mag out of state................. ahhh...miss cali. but not the gun laws.

I feel ya. I had a SA 1911 TRP Operator that I sold dirt cheap to invest into something else. I miss that gun.

Very nice, the operators w/ the Full lenght rail are nice, too bad SA stop making them. Might have to buy another 1911 when the gun show comes around again.

Too true, when I got my 1911 it took me 10 days, when I bought the browning it took me 45mins..... I bought before I took my friend shooting for his first time, thank God for cheap .22 ammo, best training aid for n00bs when it comes to firearms.

Gotta love texas, sadly I missed a gun show this past weekend. I'm looking into getting an AR, was thinking of getting another 1911, but with the same price of $1400, I'm just going to get a AR. Did you get to see any AR's? how much were they at the show?

Bump for an awesome thread

I stopped my local Bass Pro Shop today on the way home, and they had gotten 1 Ruger LCP in earlier today. I've been thinking about picking one up for a while now, and since they are so hard to find, I decided to buy it. If I like the way it shoots, it will be nice having a gun I don't have to pick clothes to conceal.
