They need an update patch for these issues.

And they need to patch it so we can use all the controls when you have a wheel plugged in. They push using a wheel, but most of the non-racing screens use left and right stick (photography, painting, etc). To use any of that, you need to turn off the wheel and turn on a controller. They need to make it so you can have both on at the same time.

alright fuckers, here are a couple of protips that i feel like an idiot for not realizing earlier:

protip #1: when you bid on a car and lose you have to manually get your 'bid' money back.
protip #2: when you successfully sell a car in the auction house you need to manually get the money.

i was sitting on like 400k before i realized i needed to retrieve it myself. hurf durf.

if you knew this already then gj.

i get a % bonus because i dont use traction control, stability control, auto braking or abs. also, i have the AI set to hard and the damage set to simulation. i cant do manual without a wheel--theres no way. also, i dont know the tracks well enough to turn off full lines. maybe in a few months ill have a wheel and ill be more familiar with the courses. auctions have earned me about 250k or so, also.

Im a level 28. I got about 3.7 million right now. I turn off ALL assists and make it manual with clutch on the controller.

That's not what gets me all the money, what does is storefront..

I have a couple tunes, vinyl groups, and designs that i sell on a day to day basis, giving me about 200k a day doing nothing. lol.

Yup. Of course there is no 330d in this game so I had to choose the closest, which is one of the $300k BMW touring cars. I think it's an R2.

I have everything off except abs, full damage, no line, and manual. That's an 80% bonus and I don't have anywhere near 1 million. I'm only level 21 too.

I'm a level 36 or so, I keep the opponents on easy, keep abs on, run manual without the clutch (was too much work to use it) and no other assists. I am trying to blow through the game because MW2 comes out pretty soon, and honestly I am sick of this game already with it's damn glitches and crap. It feels very half-assed a lot of the time.
