Here is a dump of my best/most interesting night shots. Taken with a Nikon d40.

Awesome stuff. You in chicago? I'm actually looking for some photos for around my house similar to what you had in your first set. If you have more like that, PM me some small samples and maybe we can work something out.

Thanks! I may have more stuff on my PC at home. Otherwise, I have whatever is up on my flickr (see sig) which is only a little more than I've posted up thus far. There should be 3 sets of night pix.....one from last month, one from last November (although in Baltimore) and another Chicago set from 11-08. I'll be making more rounds with my camera some time, though. I can let you know when/if I do.

lol....I'm actually doing the same thing.....taking pix for around my house.

This is one of my first series of pans with the new camera. I hate the lens, but that's just because I wasn't using it very well. Sorry for being as big as it is but it's shrunk waaaaaay down. I can only link it otherwise it's going to probably tick people off. It would if it were me having to scroll.

Nikon 24-120. These particular ones were at 120mm, f/5.6 at 2.5 sec. For some reason the ISO didn't record, but it wasn't any higher than 800 if that.

I think what my goal was required a longer lens. Next time I suppose.

love the chicago shots. was there last weekend and on the way back from carnivale drove by the drawbridge...instantly recognizable

I did a couple similar shots as the OP while in Vegas.

I took these last month while I was in vegas.

All shots are handheld (as I was too lazy to take out my tripod.. ha)
