F10 M5 spied undergoing cold weather testing in Sweden

It seems that almost all prototypes for upcoming BMW models are currently somewhere in frozen northern Scandinavia conducting cold winter testing, and that includes the upcoming BMW F10 M5. Spotted here is the F10 M5 in Northern Sweden, testing its winter handling abilities.

that was so random while reading through the comments

this has been discussed before and admins said that "there just isn't enough activity", that might be true but there is also little/no activity on x1, x5/x6, 5post, 7post. so i guess it just takes too long to make one/ buy another domain.

Southern Sweden is quite reasonable - for the end of February, mean temperature in Stockholm is 10 F, mean temperature in Fargo, ND, -4 F. But I imagine they take cars for testing as far north as possible. Maybe someone on the forum knows where they go.

about 12 month from now. give or take.
But you are in Canada, so maybe earlier??? Have no idea. We as military sales will have them shortly after the Germans, so I am VERY excited to say the least....

BMW has their own test site near Arvidsjaur in the very north of Sweden. A lot of other car manufacturers perform winter testing in this areas as well and this creates quite a few job opportunities for the locals in this otherwise remote part of Sweden.

Temperatures this winter has been down to -40 C which is unusually cold even for this part of Scandinavia.
