Jalopnik brings us these new photos of the BMW M5 test prototype spotted out testing. The upcoming M5 will be powered by a twin turbo V8 rumored to produce 578hp.

Pics were taken, at the Nürburgring on the famous gas station called ''DOETTINGER HOEHE''. I know this place very well.

The 5-series if quite heavy, but the V8 engine produces 580 hp. A good setup.
