2012 F10 M5 Continues Ring Testing. Debuts at Geneva 2011.
See our complete F10 M5 coverage (news, photos, videos, renders): http://www.bimmerpost.com/m5/ 2012 F10 M5 prototypes continue to be evaluated and tested on the Ring. The M5 is set to make its world debut at the 2011 Geneva autoshow as the "BMW Concept M5", which would be a near production identical version of the car to show off at various shows ahead of the official production car launch in Frankfurt. The car will be a 2012 MY vehicle and be powered by a special version fo the S63 V8 that is currently used in the X5 and X6 M albeit with further refinements and increased power output to make this the top car in the M car lineup alongside the next M6. The F10 M5's debut, launch, and sales schedule will be as follows. - Concept Unveiling: March 2011 @ Geneva Motor Show - Official Launch: Summer 2011 - World Public Premiere: September 2011 @ IAA Frankfurt Show - Euro deliveries: November 2011 - US deliveries: Spring 2012 Photos by Wilco Blok.

Since I'm not familiar with the new 5, can someone tell me which body panels on the M5 are shared with the standard 5? I'd assume, and it certainly looks like the front and rear bumpers and quarter panels are different.

I'm guessing the front quarter panels will have the customary gills though. I sure would like to see flared fenders and hood hump like the M3 though. I'm guessing that goes over better with the M3 crowd than the M5 crowd.
